Rosberg to test despite neck pain
Mercedes has confirmed Nico Rosberg will test on the second day of F1 testing at the Circuit de Catalunya despite suffering with a trapped nerve in his neck. The German picked up the injury between the two F1 tests and was considered something of a potential doubt for his scheduled run in the W06 today. However, Mercedes says Rosberg will test as scheduled for the time being, though test driver Pascal Wehrlein – who substituted for an unwell Lewis Hamilton yesterday – is on standby should he be required again. Sunrise through the @Circuitcat_eng stands brings a message: it's @nico_rosberg at the wheel today, as scheduled! #F1 pic.twitter.com/ma6A0dh7v0
