Force India confirms Wehrlein F1 test

Sahara Force India has confirmed Mercedes AMG test driver Pascal Wehrlein will drive its car during the second F1 test of the pre-season at the Circuit de Catalunya. The team, which skipped the opening test of the year in Jerez, will be making its first official appearance of the 2015 F1 season in Barcelona, albeit only with its 2014-specification VJM07 on the latest Pirelli tyres. Wehrlein's presence was first hinted days ago as an apparent means of recompense to Mercedes for use of its power units amidst rumours that Force India is struggling to make payments to its suppliers, including the German manufacturer.
