Bourdais: Vergne will have other opportunities

Former F1 driver Sebastien Bourdais is convinced Jean-Eric Vergne will flourish in another environment having lost his F1 drive with Scuderia Toro Rosso for 2015. The Frenchman exited the team after being passed over for the available Red Bull Racing drive alongside Daniel Ricciardo, instead opting for a testing role with Ferrari alongside Esteban Gutierrez. Indeed, though he has since dabbled in Formula E and is tipped to be chasing an IndyCar Series seat, Vergne's immediate racing future remains unclear. It is a situation that resonates with countryman Bourdais, who competed with Toro Rosso in 2008 and part of 2009 before he was dropped mid-season and replaced by Jaime Alguersuari....
