Hamilton & Ricciardo nominated for Laureus Awards

Lewis Hamilton, Daniel Ricciardo and the Mercedes Formula One team have all received nominations for the prestigious Laureus Sports Awards. After winning his second career Driver's Championship this year, Lewis Hamilton is up for the World Sportsman of the Year Award and faces competition from Real Madrid footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, golfer Rory McIlroy, MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez, tennis number-one Novak Djokovic and French pole-vaulter Renaud Lavillenie. Daniel Ricciardo's world-champion-beating performances this year have not gone unnoticed.
