Ricciardo smashes Top Gear record

Sutton Images Enlarge Daniel Ricciardo has taken his first steps towards toppling Mercedes in 2015 after beating Lewis Hamilton by seventh tenths in Top Gear's F1 driver challenge. Ricciardo appeared on the popular British car programme on Sunday night to take part in its 'Star in a Reasonably Priced Car'. Lewis Hamilton previously topped the F1 leaderboard with a 1:42.9, ahead of the man Ricciardo replaced at Red Bull, Mark Webber, and the Australian's former team-mate Sebastian Vettel.
