Ricciardo upbeat despite Red Bull set-backs

Daniel Ricciardo insists he can still tell the Red Bull RB11 has made an improvement on its race-winning predecessor after a day hampered by technical issues with the power unit. Though Red Bull Racing is enjoying a considerably more positive test than twelve months ago when ongoing problems consigned it to only a handful of laps, Ricciardo was limited to just 48 laps in the afternoon on day three after a power unit issue developed early on. Coupled to Daniil Kvyat's front-wing error on day two, Red Bull heads into the final day having completed a relatively meagre 102 laps. By contrast Mercedes has managed 399 laps.
