Water leak curtails Hamilton's running at Jerez

Lewis Hamilton's first day driving the Mercedes W06 Hybrid at the Circuito de Jerez was cut short by a water leak. The 2014 world champion enjoyed a positive morning, putting in the second fastest time. However, the reliability issue meant he was forced to sit out the final three hours of running and slipped to fourth. Mercedes topped the lap count for the second consecutive day, but Hamilton's tally of 91 laps fell well short of Nico Rosberg's Sunday total of 157. 'That was a satisfying day,' he said.
