Ricciardo: First impressions are good
Daniel Ricciardo may not have completed 'a whole lot of laps' on day one at Jerez, but the Australian was pretty impressed with the new Red Bull. The Milton Keynes squad took the covers off their RB11 before the start of the first pre-season test on Sunday morning and surprised the paddock with a barcoded - or is it a zebrull? - livery, which Ricciardo described as 'cool'. The 25-year-old went on to complete 35 laps and was fourth fastest on a day that saw his former team-mate Sebastian Vettel top the timesheets for Ferrari with a 1:22.620. However, Ricciardo was still just 0.718s off Vettel's pace and was generally satisfied with how things went. 'We got going pretty well this morning...
