McLaren reveals Honda-powered MP4-30
McLaren has pulled the wraps off its much anticipated Honda-powered challenger ahead of the 2015 Formula 1 World Championship, the MP4-30. Heralding the return of Honda Racing to F1, seven years after it exited the sport as a constructor, the MP4-30 rekindles the relationship between McLaren and the Japanese manufacturer, more than two decades after the collaboration yielded four consecutive drivers' world titles between 1988 and 1991. The new livery, which had been kept a closely-guarded secret, combines the recognisable silver livery as used by McLaren in recent years, with influences from Honda's corporate red.
