Alonso to drive McLaren-Honda first

McLaren-Honda has confirmed Fernando Alonso will be its driver representative on the first day of Formula 1 pre-season testing, which gets underway on February 1st in Jerez. The team, which will launch its much anticipated Honda-powered machine on January 29th, confirmed on Twitter that the returning Alonso will get his first taste of the car when testing kicks off on the Sunday and then again on the Tuesday. Team-mate Jenson Button will sample the machine on day two before returning for the fourth and final day of the test. 10 days until the first test of 2015. @alo_oficial will drive on day 1 & 3, with @JensonButton taking the reins on days 2 & 4. #McLarenHonda— McLaren (@McLarenF1)...
