F1: FIA pursues legal action over Streiff's Bianchi comments

The FIA has confirmed it will mount legal action against former F1 driver Philippe Streiff after accusing him of making defamatory comments in the wake of Jules Bianchi's accident during the Japanese Grand Prix. Streiff, who was confined to a wheelchair in an accident during F1 testing in 1989, has been quoted as saying that the panel formed to investigate Bianchi's accident in Suzuka was predominantly created to clear the FIA of liability.
