First render of Williams FW37 reveals thumb nose

The first image of the Williams FW37 has been released by F1 Racing magazine which claims the render is based on what Williams will debut in Jerez on February 1st. The render shows the team has followed a similar design philosophy to 2014's 'finger' noses, though the protrusion is now much shorter as expected thanks to tighter regulations. The 'thumb' is there to purely meet the crash structure regulations, and kept as thin as possible, allowing for a larger opening either side to maximise the airflow passing underneath the nose section. Much of the car is likely to change ahead of the first race in Australia, but the render gives a good indication of what most cars will look like next...
