Vergne spends first day in Ferrari simulator
– Recently-signed Ferrari test driver Jean-Éric Vergne has officially started work at the team.The Frenchman, who lost his Toro Rosso race seat at the end of last season, has been handed a simulator-based test role by the manufacturer.He spent Tuesday at the outfit's Maranello factory, meeting management and engineers, before getting some virtual mileage under his belt."The first day as a Ferrari man is really something special," Vergne told the official Ferrari website."But already last night, I took a short trip around Maranello and I realised that this is a city that lives and breathes Ferrari."This year, I will be doing a lot of work in the simulator and this...
