Lauda: Hamilton contract renewal will happen

– Mercedes non-executive Chairman Niki Lauda says that World Champion Lewis Hamilton will renew his contact with the team beyond the end of this year, but that there is no hurry to do so.Hamilton joined Mercedes from McLaren on a three-year-deal at the start of 2013 and claimed last year's title with 11 wins.With Nico Rosberg signing a long-term deal last year to remain with Mercedes, executive director Toto Wolff said recently that Fernando Alonso would be the priority for the team, should Hamilton not sign a new contract.But Lauda has dismissed such suggestions and says that Hamilton will remain the team."This will happen, I'm not worried," Lauda told SID.
