FIA reveals Super Licence points system

– Formula 1's governing body, the FIA, has devised a feeder category points system as part of its impending clampdown over the relative ease at which drivers have been able to obtain a Super Licence.From the 2016 season, drivers will be required to hold a valid driving licence, be 18 or over and have amassed sufficient experience and success in other championships.Other requirements are 300km of running in modern Formula 1 machinery, and knowledge of Formula 1's regulations, assessed through a question and answer session.The changes followed on from 17-year-old Max Verstappen being handed a Formula 1 drive with Toro Rosso, after finishing third in his sole European Formula 3...
