Korea removed from latest 2015 schedule

The Korean Grand Prix has been removed from the latest listing of the 2015 Formula 1 schedule, after it became clear that the event was not viable. Officials have confirmed that commercial rights holder Bernie Ecclestone had insisted the race be revived but its removal means that the calendar is once again down to twenty races. It was believed that the inclusion of Korea, originally set for May 03rd, was to enable teams to be able to utilise a fifth engine in 2015 but its removal means that drivers will be forced to race with just the four engines before penalties come into play.
