Caterham administators will not finance testing
+ Caterham’s administrators will not pay for the team to go testing ahead of the 2015 Formula 1 season if a new buyer is not found.
The Leafield-based team entered administration ahead of the United States Grand Prix in October, but returned to the grid in time for the final round of the season in Abu Dhabi thanks to a crowdfunding effort which raised £2.35m.
However, with testing ahead of the 2015 season just four weeks away, Caterham’s administrators Smith & Williamson are still yet to finalise a deal to sell the team, putting the Leafield-based outfit’s future in serious doubt.
