Force India to launch on 21 January
Sahara Force India has confirmed a date for the unveiling of its new 2015 Formula One car. The Mercedes-powered VJM08 has been confirmed to uncover itself on January 21.
Team principal Vijay Mallya underlined the launch date by confirming the team's new backers. 'I wish to thank Telmex, Telcel and Claro for their support in making this event possible,' he said. All three brands were previously seen on various cars in Formula One, but thanks to the team's new backing from America Movil, they will all be featuring on the new VJM08. All are a perfect match for Mexican driver Sergio Pérez, with whom the team is expected to display its car at Mexico City. Sahara Force India finished a clear 6th...
