Wolff targeting Alonso as Hamilton 'replacement'

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has admitted that should Lewis Hamilton fail to agree a new contract his team would seek Fernando Alonso as a replacement.The 2014 world champion is currently in talks to extend his current contract beyond the end of 2015. However, other than money, the Briton will be looking for assurances from the team that it can help him secure further titles to add to his tally. Furthermore, Hamilton will be aware that, engine freeze or unfreeze, Mercedes cannot rely on its domination to continue forever.
