Ferrari junior Marciello named Sauber reserve

Sutton Images Enlarge Ferrari junior Raffaele Marciello has been named Sauber's test and reserve driver for the 2015 season. Marciello, 20, made his test debut for Ferrari at Abu Dhabi at the end of November. He will remain at Racing Engineering for a second season of GP2, F1's feeder category, after finishing eighth in 2014. The Italian says the role at Sauber is an important step in his career. "I am really pleased to become a member of the Sauber F1 team, which has a long tradition of building up excellent drivers," said Marciello.
