Schumacher still faces 'long fight' one year after accident

Michael Schumacher's recovery is still a long way from being complete, one year after suffering severe head injuries in a skiing accident. That is the latest news from the seven-time F1 world champion's manager on the first anniversary of the incident in Meribel that left Schumacher in an induced coma – and fans fearing for his life. Although the German emerged from the six months ago, and left hospital to return home in September, manager Sabine Kehm played down reports in a French newspaper that suggested he was making good progress.
