Ecclestone formally reappointed to F1 board

– Bernie Ecclestone has been reappointed to the Formula 1 board and will continue as CEO of the Formula One Group, while Luca di Montezemolo and Paul Walsh have been named as Non-Executive Directors.Ecclestone stood down from the board in January ahead of his trial over allegations that he bribed a German banker during the sale of Formula 1 back in 2006.After four months of legal proceedings, Ecclestone was cleared when he reached a $100 million settlement with state prosecutors.Ex-Ferrari President di Montezemolo and Walsh, former CEO of leading drinks business Diageo, will start work in their new roles on January 1.It has also been confirmed that Peter Brabeck-Letmathe will...
