Nielsen named Williams sporting manager

LONDON, Dec 15, 2014 (AFP) - Steve Nielsen has been appointed as the new sporting manager of Williams, the British Formula One team announced on Monday. Nielsen has 27 years' experience within F1 and arrives from Toro Rosso, where he had been working as sporting director since last year. "I'm delighted to be joining a team of Williams' history and stature in what is a very exciting time for everyone at Grove after a very impressive 2014 season," Nielsen told the official Formula One website.
