Frijns parts company with Caterham

Caterham F1 Team Robin Frijns has parted company with Caterham after his contract with the outfit expired on Monday. Frijns, the 2012 Formula Renault 3.5 Series champion, joined Caterham at the start of the year after spending 2013 in a reserve role with Sauber. Frijns participated in pre-season testing and received practice outings in Bahrain and Britain, but his role with the team was cast into doubt when the team entered administration.
