Magnussen: Still big opportunities ahead in my F1 career

Despite being demoted to test and reserve driver for McLaren Honda next season, Kevin Magnussen still believes big opportunities lie ahead for him in Formula 1. On Thursday the Woking-based outfit announced Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button as its race drivers for 2015, with Magnussen stepping down to the reserve role. The Dane made his F1 debut this season, scoring a podium in his first race and impressing on several occasions. It wasn't enough to keep his drive, but Magnussen says he has plenty of time to return to the grid.
