Bahrain can block Qatar F1 race – Ecclestone

An agreement with the current Middle Eastern F1 races could prevent Qatar from joining the calendar in the future, Bernie Ecclestone says. He recently described Qatar as 'ready' to host a race, with a circuit and a street race being evaluated. However, he has revealed that Bahrain could block another race in the region from being added to the schedule. 'It was an idea I thought would work,' Ecclestone is quoted as saying by Reuters. 'But I've got a bit of a problem which nobody knows about really but I'm sure they soon will.
