Mercedes trumps Abu Dhabi test, McLaren-Honda's woes continue
Following up on its dominance in the 2014 campaign, Mercedes ended the post-season Abu Dhabi test with the fastest time on Wednesday while McLaren, embarking on a new journey with Honda, failed to get going for the second straight day. Pascal Wehrlein, Mercedes' 20-year-old reserve driver, was nearly half a second quicker than reigning 19-year-old Formula 3 champion Raffaele Marciello in the Ferrari followed by another teenager, Max Verstappen, in the Toro Rosso. Times, though, were not comparable to what unfolded during the season-finale Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend as conditions at the Yas Marina were very different and some teams were running different tyres and had bolted on new...
