Palmer targets Force India role

Jolyon Palmer says he would like to secure a role in Formula 1 with Force India, after testing for the team in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday. The British driver got his first taste of driving F1 machinery at the Yas Marina Circuit. An engine issue limited his running, but he managed a total of 37 laps and set the fourth fastest time. Palmer, who wrapped up the GP2 title in Russia last month, will hand over driving duties to Formula 3 racer Spike Goddard on Wednesday.
