Testing underway in Abu Dhabi

There will be no Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel or Jenson Button at the post-season test in Abu Dhabi, but the new McLaren-Honda will debut. Newly crowned World Champion Hamilton will not be in action for Mercedes over the two days at the Yas Marina Circuit with Nico Rosberg driving on Tuesday and Pascal Wehrlein, who was named Merc reserve driver in September, taking over on Wednesday. With Red Bull opting not to release Sebastian Vettel early from his contract for testing duties, Ferrari have gone with Kimi Raikkonen and academy driver Raffaele Marciello.
