GP3 champion Lynn ready for F1

GP3 champion Alex Lynn says he “absolutely” feels ready for a shot at F1 having done all that was asked of him by Red Bull. Lynn secured the GP3 title in qualifying for the first race in Abu Dhabi, with Dean Stoneman – the only driver that could deny him the championship – failing to take pole position. As a Red Bull young driver in the frame for a Toro Rosso drive, Lynn said his focus would be on trying to secure an F1 seat after this weekend's final two races. “The next step is that we still have a GP3 Series season to finish: I'm determined to enjoy myself and try and win those last two races too,” Lynn said. “But absolutely I feel ready for Formula One.
