Hamilton stays ahead at Abu Dhabi

Lewis Hamilton continued to have the edge in the second practice session at Abu Dhabi, going less than a tenth of a second faster than his team mate Nico Rosberg. Behind the Mercedes duo, the competition edged closed, even though still roughly 8 tenths behind. McLaren enjoyed a much more fruitful session this afternoon with Magnussen completing a solid 37 laps to set the third fastest lap of the session. Team mate Jenson Button was 8th fastest following a dismal first session. The Red Bulls were again in 4th and 5th positions while the Williams of Bottas and Massa also ran without problems following their bodywork fixture problems in FP1. Most troubled was Fernando Alonso.
