Formula One World Championship, Rd11, Hungarian Grand Prix, Race Day, Hungaroring, Hungary. Sunday, 27 July 2014Ferrari have confirmed that Fernando Alonso will leave the team at the end of the 2014 Formula One campaign.
In a statement, the team said that the relationship ended "by common consent". The announcement means this weekend's race in Abu Dhabi will formally bring to a close Alonso's five-year spell with the Scuderia, which has yielded 11 wins and 44 podiums, though no championship success
