McLaren set to bid Mercedes goodbye after 20 years

McLaren will race at the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix for the final time with engine supplier Mercedes, ending a partnership that lasted for two decades. The British outfit began its association with the German manufacturer in 1995, with Sunday's race at Yas Marina to be the partnership's 352nd before McLaren switches to Honda power units next season. 'The race in Abu Dhabi marks the end of a very significant era in McLaren's history, and we'd like to thank Mercedes for our hugely successful and historic partnership over the past 20 seasons,' said the team's racing director Eric Boullier.
