Caterham crowdfunding project hits half-way mark

The Caterham F1 Team's crowdfunding project, which was launched last week, has hit the 50 per cent mark. It was launched by the Leafield-based outfit's administrators – accountancy firm Smith & Williamson – last week in a bid to get Caterham to the 2014 season finale in Abu Dhabi. As Smith & Williamson continue to search for new investment, after the team was given dispensation to miss the last two F1 races in the USA and Brazil, a target of £2,350,000 was set and needs to be raised by this Friday. The project has now reached the half-way stage, with 3,215 backers so far. A number of rewards are on offer for people donating, ranging from badges and bags to logo space on the car...
