Suspension failure caused Ricciardo retirement

Getty Images Enlarge Daniel Ricciardo says a suspension failure was the reason for his "boring" Brazilian Grand Prix coming to a premature end. Ricciardo limped back to the pit lane on lap 39 after reporting what he initially thought was a brake failure, ending a run of 15 consecutive top eight finishes. "From yesterday afternoon the weekend went a little downhill, obviously I had the issue today," Ricciardo said. "To be honest a few laps before my eventually problem I had, let's say wobbles, going down when I was braking. The car seemed to be behaving a little bit weird.
