Rosberg keeps Hamilton behind to take Brazil victory

Nico Rosberg took an all important win in Brazil to give his championship hopes a vital boost ahead of the final race of the season in a fortnight. The German fended off a challenge from team-mate Lewis Hamilton, who attacked on several occasions but couldn't find a way past, though he only finished 1.4 seconds adrift after 71 laps. It could have been a different story had Hamilton not spun - the result of pushing too hard to close the gap when Rosberg pitted. Felipe Massa came home third to the delight of the Brazilian crowd.
