Rosberg clearly faster than Hamilton in Brazil practice

Nico Rosberg headed the times in practice for the Brazilian Grand Prix on Friday from Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton in a session repeatedly interrupted by red flags. The German, who also topped times in first practice, was a clear two-tenths quicker than his teammate and championship rival Hamilton, who currently leads the standings ahead of the penultimate round. Held in hot conditions interspersed with clouds, the temperatures played a key role in the performance of the power units and contributed to high rates of tyre degradation.
