Interlagos FP1: Rosberg on top chased by Hamilton

Nico Rosberg fastest in FP1 Nico Rosberg started his Brazilian grand Prix weekend in the best way possible, by claiming the top time in the first free practice session of the weekend at Interlagos. The German who is clinging to his title hopes and needs a good showing in the final two races, was a couple of tenths faster than Mercedes teammate and title rival Lewis Hamilton – the pair once again the class of the field in the Silver Arrows. The real talking point at the end of the 90 minutes was about the two youngest drivers in action, namely Toro Rosso duo of Daniil Kvyat and Max Verstappen who was on duty in place of Jean Eric Vergne.
