Rosberg pips Hamilton in first Brazil practice

– Nico Rosberg beat Mercedes team-mate and championship leader Lewis Hamilton to the fastest time during first practice for the Brazilian Grand Prix, as the pair finished almost a second clear of their nearest rivals.Rosberg produced a 1:12.764 as lap times gradually improved at a resurfaced Interlagos track, just over two tenths quicker than Hamilton.Toro Rosso rookie Daniil Kvyat finished as the best of the rest in third, edging out Ferrari's Fernando Alonso and Williams driver Felipe Massa.Max Verstappen ensured that both Toro Rosso machines finished inside the top six, the Dutch teenager escaping from numerous wild moments.Taking part in his third F1 practice session, the...
