Marussia ceases trading with all 200 staff made redundant

+ Marussia’s administrators have confirmed that the team has ceased trading, with all 200 staff made redundant. The team entered administration two weeks ago, but despite serious negotiations about a possible rescue deal a buyer could not be found. Marussia had hoped to make it to the final round of the season in Abu Dhabi and the team submitted an official entry for 2015 under the Manor name earlier this week. Geoff Rowley, joint administrator at FRP advisory said: “It goes without saying that it is deeply regrettable that a business with such a great following in British and world motorsport has had to cease trading and close its doors.” “Whilst the team made significant progress...
