Rosberg romps to Austin pole

Nico Rosberg has managed to pip his Mercedes team-mate to pole position for the United States Grand Prix at Austin’s Circuit of the Americas, after a thoroughly entertaining qualifying hour. The Mercedes duo were followed by the Williams duo of Bottas and Massa, who will line-up third and fourth for the 56-lap race. After a chilly start to the day for the third and final practice session ahead of the United States Grand Prix, the all-important qualifying hour began in much warmer conditions. As the session officially began the Force India duo of Sergio Perez and Nico Hulkenberg became the first drivers to take to the track, before a long train of cars soon elected to follow the duo out...
