Alonso says he considered pit lane start

– Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso says he considered making an engine change and starting this weekend's United States Grand Prix from the pit lane.Under Formula 1's current regulations, drivers can use five of each of the six power unit elements per season, with any more resulting in penalties.Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel will start from the pits after changing his entire power unit for the event, something Alonso – who qualified sixth – admitted he was close to mirroring."We were a couple of tenths down on the engine because we have some limitations after the Monza engine failure," said Alonso."We were discussing last week using a sixth engine and starting from the...
