Hulkenberg blames visor tear-off for struggle

Qualifying for Sunday’s United States Grand Prix saw Sergio Perez qualify in P12 with Nico Hulkenberg right behind in P13. Nico Hulkenberg targeted Q3 but strangely had a visor tear-off stuck on his tyre to lose grip and ruin his flying lap. Sergio Perez, 12th, VJM07-02: “It has been a difficult weekend so far working with the car balance because the windy conditions have impacted on us quite a lot. The wind was always changing direction, making the car quite unpredictable and making it difficult to be consistent. So it was hard to get the perfect lap together.
