F1: Button to take five-place grid penalty
Jenson Button has revealed he will take a five-place grid penalty at this weekend's United States Grand Prix as the result of a gearbox change. McLaren has been competitive in the last two races, with Button finishing fifth in Japan and fourth in Russia as the team has pulled clear of Force India in the constructors' championship. Continuing that run has been made harder, however, after Button said on Thursday that he needs a new gearbox for the race in Austin which will see him penalised after qualifying. “I've got a gearbox change, which is a bit of a pain in the arse,” Button said. “So a five-place penalty which is a pain in the arse.” Button said he is hoping for high...
