Vergne says he is 'best option' for Toro Rosso
ean-Éric Vergne reckons he is the "best option" out of the drivers vying to race alongside Max Verstappen at Toro Rosso next season.While the team initially named Verstappen and Daniil Kvyat as its drivers for 2015, a vacancy opened up following the Russian's promotion to replace the outgoing Sebastian Vettel at Red Bull.Vergne sits on a list of four candidates, which also includes Formula Renault 3.5 champion Carlos Sainz Jr., GP3 title leader Alex Lynn and FR3.5 runner-up Pierre Gasly."I think [continuing] it is the best option for the team and myself," said Vergne."When I arrived at Toro Rosso they had a brand new team with a new Technical Director, a lot of new...
