Lotus to run trial 2015 nose in United States GP practice
+ Lotus will run a trial 2015 nose design during practice for the United States Grand Prix.
The Enstone-based team, which currently sits eighth in the constructors’ championship, has run with a unique twin-tusk design all year.
However, with the technical regulations covering nose design set to change for next season, Lotus will test a 2015 trial nose in practice in Austin.
“This will be for evaluation and aero data logging,” the team’s technical director Nick Chester said. “It’s something we’re doing as part of our preparations for the E23 Hybrid, next year’s car.
