Caterham’s new owners threaten to pull out

Tony Fernandes sold the Leafield based team to a consortium of Swiss and Middle Eastern buyers before the British Grand Prix. A strongly worded statement from Caterham on Wednesday night said that the seller had failed to transfer shares to the buyers. This means the new owners have been funding the team for the past three months but do not have a legal title to say they own the team.
