Pirelli changes Brazil tyre nomination

– Pirelli has altered its tyre compound nomination for the Brazilian Grand Prix, amid fears over safety.Having initially picked the Medium and Hard compounds, the Italian brand has chosen to move to the more aggressive Soft and Medium rubber, citing the new-for-2014 Interlagos track surface as the primary factor.The change required the unanimous agreement of the teams after a meeting of the Tyre Working Group."We've always said that we would be open to any changes if they were required," said Motorsport Director Paul Hembery."After further technical analysis of the impact of the revised circuit surface, together with a risk assessment suggesting a low probability of...
