Magnussen to get five-place grid penalty
– Kevin Magnussen will be handed a five-place grid penalty for the Russian Grand Prix, with McLaren forced to change the gearbox on his car after it failed during Saturday's final practice session at Sochi Autodrom.Magnussen stopped his car after it dramatically snapped away early in the session and, on its return to the pit lane, the team determined that a faulty gearbox was the root cause, with a pre-qualifying unit change required.Force India's Nico Hülkenberg is another driver facing a gearbox grid drop after qualifying, while Lotus driver Pastor Maldonado will also fall five positions, with half of his engine penalty from Japan to be carried over.
