Kobayashi keeps Caterham seat for Sochi

Kamui Kobayashi Kamui Kobayashi will be in action alongside Marcus Ericsson for Caterham  at the inaugural Russian Grand Prix, but Roberto Merhi will take his cockpit for FP1 on Friday at Sochi. Kobayashi was dropped for the Belgian Grand Prix, replaced by Audi sportscar ace André Lotterer, and is now on a race-by-race deal with crisis struck Caterham who have not confirmed if the Japanese driver will contest the final three rounds of the season Kobayashi said ahead of the weekend in Russia, 'It's always extremely exciting to race at a new circuit – I had a chance to do a few laps of Sochi with the Codemasters 2014 F1 Game in Suzuka last week and, even though it was a video...
